Please include the app version, your device model and iOS version, a description of the problem, and any useful screenshots. We aim to respond within 24–48 hours on business days.

Get started

  1. Create a ruleset and choose how the game ends: a fixed number of rounds, a target score, or an early finish when you need to stop.
  2. Add or select the players for this game and arrange them in turn order.
  3. Start the game. Tally & Turn keeps one retained game for each ruleset so you can return to it later.

Enter scores

Each round follows the player order you chose. Use the score keypad and tape to add signed score terms, then save each player's turn. Saving an empty tape records an explicit zero, so a scored zero is distinct from a player who has not taken a turn yet.

When a round is ready to finish, Tally & Turn identifies players who have not received a score and asks you to confirm their zeroes. Choose Next Round to continue or Finish Game when the game has reached its ending condition.

Restore or reset a game

Open Tally & Turn again to resume its locally saved rulesets and retained games. If a game does not look right, first make sure you are using the same device and have not reset or uninstalled the app.

To start fresh, use the app's reset option and confirm the prompt. Resetting removes Tally & Turn's local data. Uninstalling also removes local data from the device. Apple-managed device backups may contain app data if you enabled backups, but Frying Around cannot access or restore those backups for you.

Accessibility

Tally & Turn is designed for phone and tablet scorekeeping with readable layouts, clear labels, keyboard focus, and non-color status cues. Use your device's text-size, screen-reader, contrast, and reduced-motion settings to tailor the experience.

Troubleshooting

  • The app is not responding: close and reopen it, then restart your device if needed.
  • A score or game seems missing: confirm that you are on the same device and ruleset. Tally & Turn does not use accounts or cloud sync.
  • Something looks wrong after an update: do not reset the app; contact support first with your app and device details.
  • You found a bug or have an idea: email support with the steps that led to it and a screenshot if possible.
